Our School

Thank you for taking the time to look at our wonderful school site.

Our Primary School is in the heart of Central/West Watford, a vibrant and thriving community. We are situated in a beautiful and unique listed building that is a well-known landmark in the town centre. Many interesting and useful features and amenities are on our doorstep, such as the Watford Central Library, Cassiobury Park, West Herts College and the Watford Central Sports Centre. We are lucky to be able to make use of all of these opportunities to enrich the learning of our children.

The staff at Lanchester share a common commitment and passion for the life chances of our children. We work hard to make sure that all children succeed and thrive - and, most importantly, that they develop a love for learning.

The children are definitely the jewels in our crown and are a constant pleasure to work with. We are supported by an active PTA and Governing Body (with several parent members) and are proud members of Danes Educational Trust.

This is a lovely school that is growing and improving all the time. We aim to become one of the schools of choice for all children in this part of Watford. We look forward to meeting you and showing you around.
