Bedtime Stories Evening.

Tomorrow evening (Wednesday 1st February), we will be having a bedtime stories evening, starting at 6pm. The children may bring a cushion/blanket with them if they wish as we have a limited amount in our class. I hope to see many of you there!

Today we had an inspirational poet in school, Ian Bland, to encourage us to engage in poetry in a fun and exciting way!

Well done to Elephants on a great class assembly. Well done to all of them for learning their lines and a big thank you to all parents for the amazing costumes and the work you put into them!

Our class assembly will be at 9:10am on Wednesday 25th January. All parents are welcome to attend.

Friday 27th January - Spanish Week.

On Friday the children will be having a Spanish party in the afternoon during school hours. Children should try to wear something (dress in the colours) to resemble the Argentinian flag. They may come to school in these clothes for the day if they wish or can change in the afternoon. If your child does not have any clothes that represents Argentina, they may wear something representing Spain. Argentina colours - blue and white (small part of yellow).

Innovation in English - As we have been focusing on the story 'Isabellas Garden', today we had the opportunity to plant our own bulbs as we are going to be focusing on innovating the story this week.

Class assembly clothes.

Please could all children have their class assembly seasons clothes in school for Monday 23rd January.
